May 4, 2016 Tonight, as the sun sets, Yom HaShoah (יום השואה), Holocaust Day, begins. Here in Israel and around the world, the Jewish People face the memory and pain of the Holocaust and say, “Never again.” And for many of us here at the ministry, it is very personal as we lost grandparents, aunts and uncles, who were gassed and then put in the ovens in Auschwitz. And the family members who were not put to death right away were in slave labor camps becoming living skeletons.

Mimouna Meal Marks End of Passover

May 2, 2016 At the close of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the feast of Mimouna begins. This traditional North African Jewish celebration is held the day after Passover and marks the return to eating chametz (leavened foods). In Israel, it has been adopted as something of “a national holiday,” after years of celebration in Israeli circles by Moroccan Jewish and Sephardic Jewish communities.

7 Arrested in Jerusalem for Attempting Passover Sacrifices

April 27, 2016 In the Old City of Jerusalem, Rafael Morris, the leader of the Return to the Temple Mount Movement, was arrested for trying to sacrifice a goat for the Feast of Passover. His effort was in obedience to Deuteronomy 16:2: “You shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God from the flock and the herd, in the place where the LORD chooses to establish His name.”
