IDF Discovers Terrorist Tunnel Linking Gaza with Israel

Jews in Europe Fear Wearing Jewish Symbols in Public

October 23, 2013 Anti-Semitism has grown in Europe to such a point that 22 percent of Jews are concerned for their safety when in public. Because of that, they avoid wearing items that identify them as Jewish, such as a kippah (yarmulke or skull cap), according to a survey of 5,100 Jews in nine European countries conducted by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. October 17, 2013 Vayera begins with Abraham sitting at the entrance of his tent. According to Rashi, an 11th century Torah and Talmud (oral law) commentator, Abraham was convalescing. It was only three days after he was circumcised in obedience to God as a sign of the covenant when he saw three strangers. Even though Abraham did not know who these strangers were, he welcomed them and gave them his best! Amazingly, the strangers that Abraham welcomed were not men, but angels.
