Hamas Executes Suspected Collaborators with Israel in “Operation Strangling Necks”

In recent days, Hamas operatives have executed at least 25 Gazans suspected of collaborating with Israel in what Hamas calls "Operation Strangling Necks." (JP) On Friday morning, 11 alleged informants were shot at the Gaza City police headquarters. Two of the 11 were women. Later in the day, masked gunmen wearing black openly shot seven alleged in formants, lining them up against a wall with their heads covered with bags. They then sprayed them with automatic rifles fire in front of worshippers emerging from the al-Omari Mosque.

Four-Year-Old Israeli Murdered By Hamas Laid to Rest Sunday

On Sunday morning, four-year-old Daniel Tragerman, who was the victim of Hamas' Friday afternoon rocket attack on Kibbutz Nahal Oz, was laid to rest. Daniel was critically wounded by rocket shrapnel in his family home as he ran to the safe room when the code red siren sounded. With only seconds to reach the room, he didn't make it. He died shortly after.

Hamas Hits Israeli Kindergarten and Synagogue

What began with three Gaza rockets on Tuesday hitting Be’er Sheva and Netivot escalated to about 70 by 9 a.m. Wednesday morning. A civilian home was hit Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday morning, a 33-year old man who shielded children with his body was seriously hurt in Eshkol. An empty kindergarten was also struck and several cows were also killed when a rocket kit a cowshed. By Thursday evening, Hamas had unleashed more than 300 rockets. On Friday, four-year-old Daniel Tragerman was killed when a Hamas rocket landed near his home in Kibbutz Nahal Oz.

Israel Foils Hamas Plot to Take Over West Bank

Israel has thwarted a Hamas plot to topple the Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas, begin the third intifada uprising, and establish a second front against Israel during Operation Protective Edge. Journalists Slam Hamas for Censorship in Gaza

In an August 11 statement, the Foreign Press Association (FPA) condemned Hamas for holding international journalists under threat and for censoring stories about Hamas war crimes and terror activities in Gaza during Israel's Operation Protective Edge in July 2014. The FPA berated Hamas for forcing journalists to underplay or ignore the terror group's activities in the Gaza Strip. It claimed forceful threats were used against its journalists, the first such claims by an official organization. (Ynet)

Iran, Hamas Call West Bank to Rise Up Against Israel

On August 11, the Iranian Armed Forces' deputy chief of staff, Brigadier General Massoud Jazzayeri encouraged "West Bank" Arabs (Arabs in Judea and Samaria) to take part in "more serious fighting" against Israel. UN Begins War Crimes Investigation Against Israel

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has appointed an international commission to investigate Israel’s conduct during Operation Protective Edge. The UN statement said the independent team will probe "all violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law ... in the context of the military operations conducted since June 13, 2014." The commission is to be headed by William Schabas, a Canadian professor of international law known for his bias against Israel’s leaders, especially Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and blindness toward Hamas.
