M-302 rockets seized by IDF forces on the Klos C: Israel intercepted this Iranian shipment bound for the Gaza Strip last week.

Last week, Lieutenant Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami announced that the Iranian military is ready to attack and to destroy Israel when ordered to do so.

“Today, we can destroy every spot which is under the Zionist regime’s control with any volume of fire power (that we want) right from here,” Salami told a conference in Tehran last week.

He said that Islam had given them the power and that their hand was on the trigger ready to strike from 1,400 kilometers (868 miles) away on command.  (Far)

Salami’s comments came a day following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation of the Iranian arms shipment that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted as it made its way to the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu criticized the West for holding on to the illusion that Iran had changed.

He said that the arms shipment was further proof that Iran was completely committed to promoting terrorism and advancing a nuclear weapons program.  (Times of Israel)
