The Israel Institute of Metals (IMM), with a research institute linked to Israel’s Technion in Haifa, recently produced this machine that prints metal components, including those made of titanium and other metal alloys.

Rome’s Jewish Leader Arrested at Auschwitz

On Tuesday, which was International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Riccardo Pacifici, the head of Rome’s Jewish community, and Fabio Perugia, Rome's Jewish community spokesman, along with Italian journalist David Parenzo and a film crew were arrested by Polish police after trying to escape through a window at Auschwitz. Pacifici, whose grandparents died in the camp, had been filming the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the death camp with a Canale 5 film crew for the Italian TV show Matrix.

On Wednesday, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin addressed the United Nations General Assembly as it marked the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, reminding the international body of its mission. “On this day we once again remember the essence of the mission of this institution: all-out war against genocide,” he said. Two Killed as Hezbollah Attacks Israeli Soldiers Across Lebanese Border

Last Wednesday morning, it looked as if there might be war between Israel and the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah after it fired anti-tank missiles toward Mount Dov, killing Israeli soldiers Major Yohai Klinger (25) and First Sergeant Dor Nini (20). An additional seven wounded were evacuated to hospitals in the north. An early investigation revealed that a minimum of five anti-tank missiles had been fired at the IDF convoy hitting at least two army vehicles on route 999, which is a public highway, in the Shebaa Farms area of Israel. The IDF responded with artillery fire into South Lebanon and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that “those behind the attack will pay.”

Terrorist Seeks “Paradise” on Tel Aviv Bus

Israelis suffered yet another “lone wolf” terrorist attack on Wednesday when a 23-year-old Palestinian stabbed 12 riders in a Tel Aviv bus. While the Palestinian ran amok on the bus, 62-year-old bus driver, Herzl Biton, who although critically wounded by a series of stab wounds to the abdomen, managed to hold the attacker off long enough for many of his passengers to leave the bus.
