UNHRC War Crimes Head William Schabas Quits

February 7, 2015 On Monday, more charges of blatant bias toward Israel were made against William Schabas, who resigned from his position as the head of the United Nation Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) “war crimes” probe of Israel. His resignation follows the latest revelations that he did consulting work for the PLO in 2012, a terrorist organization, supporting allegations that his bias against Israel prevents him from fairly conducting the probe.

Rome’s Jewish Leader Arrested at Auschwitz

February 1, 2015 On Tuesday, which was International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Riccardo Pacifici, the head of Rome’s Jewish community, and Fabio Perugia, Rome's Jewish community spokesman, along with Italian journalist David Parenzo and a film crew were arrested by Polish police after trying to escape through a window at Auschwitz. Pacifici, whose grandparents died in the camp, had been filming the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the death camp with a Canale 5 film crew for the Italian TV show Matrix.

Israeli President Diagnoses Cause and Cure of Genocide for UN General Assembly

February 1, 2015 On Wednesday, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin addressed the United Nations General Assembly as it marked the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, reminding the international body of its mission. “On this day we once again remember the essence of the mission of this institution: all-out war against genocide,” he said. He reminded the body that the UN was established on the ruins of World War II and that the call “Never again,” was “the very essence of this United Nations Organization; it is its mission; it is the primary and principal rationale for its existence.”

Iran Arms Terrorists in Judea and Samaria

Canada and Palestinian Authority Feud Over ICC

January 26, 2015 Canada’s Foreign Minister John Baird criticized the Palestinian Authority last week for filing a petition to the International Criminal Court in The Hague against Israel. In a display of continued brotherly love for Israel, Baird said, “First and foremost, Israel—every time it comes under attack—seems to have to have one hand tied behind its back.
